Kroger – Buy 5 Now, Save $5 Later – Tips and Information

There are some GREAT deals to be had with the Kroger BUY 5 NOW, SAVE $5 LATER promotion this week. We are looking at a fantastic opportunity to get our local food pantries stocked for winter!

Here are a few tips you will need for taking full advantage of this great deal!

1. You must buy in quantities of 5. Mix and match whatever participating items you chose just so long as your total number of participating items is a multiple of 5. (ie. 5, 10, 15, 20)

2. No more than 4 – $5 Catalina will print in any one shopping trip. So, if you have more than 20 participating items, you will need to break your trip up into two or more orders to get all of the catalinas.

3. You CAN earn catalinas while at the same time paying with catalinas from a previous transaction.
EXAMPLE:
Transaction #1: Buy 20 Betty Crocker Potatoes 10/$10
                                  Use 10 $.50/2 HERE or GM 10/07/12 or SS 09/09/12
                                  Pay $10.00
                                  Get 4 – $5 Catalinas

Transaction #2: Buy 20 Betty Crocker Mac n Cheese 10/$10
                                   Use ALL 4 Catalinas from transaction #1
                                   Pay $0.00
                                   Get 4 more – $5 catalinas

You can continue like this as long as you like!

4. You CAN get Rain-checks for any advertised item they are out of and it WILL include the $5 catalina!

5. Plan your trip ahead by checking out all of the participating products and matching coupons HERE. But, be prepared for some possible last minute adjustments in case they are out of something on your list. You may want to go at less crowded times (such as before 8am or after 8pm).
